The definitive outdoor fibre pile shirt. Windproof pertex 6 outer shell, side zips which cut out draught through the front, pile inner which wicks moisture away from skin or base layer to the outside. It's not waterproof but water evaporates from pertex faster than it can soak up, so you do not generally get wet, and keeps you warm and comfortable all day.

Usually worn snug-fitting to keep out draught. This garment works most efficiently when worn next to the skin.

Sizing is important as the shirt should be close fitting without being restrictive.
