The replacement for the LOWA Gore-Tex Mountain Boot, the LOWA Breacher Mid Brown GTX is part of a completely new modular system of mission boots. The ankle-high upper offers an ideal combination of stability and freedom of movement. In addition to the comfortable dual-density PU midsole with integrated arch support for long tabs, yomps, rucks or marches, the certified ankle protection system with PORON technology makes this boot the ideal choice for soldiers, airmen, police officers, security consultants and private military contractors. A combination of highly abrasion-resistant, breathable CORDURA material and smooth leather is used for the upper. Thanks to LOWA RAYFLECT technology, the smooth leather also reflects sunlight.

These LOWA boots are EN ISO 20347 certified and are classified as occupational footwear. This means that at the very least they can be expected to offer a reasonable degree of protection against oil, water, and penetrative forces. Occupational footwear such as these also provide a degree of anti-static resistance and come with shock-absorbing heels as standard.

The Vibram Vanguard outsole meets the highest anti-slip standards. Slip protection depends primarily on the design and rubber compound of the outsole. The LOWA Breacher Mid Brown GTX provides optimal slip protection on slick, wet and oily surfaces, as well as good grip on terrain. The sole is resoleable.

Ankle protection is particularly important in the military and police sector and for work in rough terrain. The LOWA Breacher Mid Brown GTX is equipped with high-performance protection of the ankle area against injuries caused by external impact. The protection of the inner and outer ankles is ensured by a PORON padding in the affected area, a material characterised by particularly high shock-absorption.

The two-zone lacing system means the forefoot and upper have their own separate adjustable lacing zones. As a result, the boot can be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced in different ways for ascents and descents.

The 100% polyurethane (PU) midsole has very good cushioning properties, is lightweight and functionally flexible.

100% GORE-TEX Professional Performance Comfort Footwear Membrane. Boots equipped with this lining are permanently waterproof and are perfect for fluctuating temperatures.

The LOWA Breacher Mid Brown GTX is equipped with an exchangeable footbed for optimal individual adjustment and, in combination with the orthopaedic insoles ErgoPad work:x and ErgoPad work:h+ from BAUERFEIND, is certified and approved for use as occupational footwear in accordance with DIN EN ISO 20347:2012
